Founded in 2005, the Norauto Foundation has made it its mission to promote cooperative and responsible driving. It supports projects put together by associations relating to road use and located close to Norauto’s centres in France.
All these projects, which are sponsored by employees of the business, are focused on three areas of activity:
Aid to mobility
Projects that facilitate the journeys of disabled, sick or elderly people such as fitting-out vehicles for transporting, driving or teaching disabled people, Highway Code workshops in French sign language, etc.
Road safety education or information campaigns for all road users, such as the Attestation de Première Education Routière (Highway Code proficiency certificate) for disabled children, teaching workshops for teenagers who ride mopeds…
Projects creating stronger ties between road use and the environment, promoting soft transport modes (walking, cycling, etc.) as well as the fight against road collisions with animals or against roadside pollutions (waste, pesticides, etc.)
