Acting in a socially responsible way

As part of its genetic make-up since its creation, the commitment to social responsibility is what led the group to put CSR at the heart of its strategy in a structured way.


  1. 1970 – 1990 /A sponsorship programme with three main guidelines

    • Occupational integration (Clean’Auto, Vitamine T)
    • Humanitarian aid (“Etoile”, “Pour un Sourire d’Enfant” associations)
    • Cultural patronage (Lille National Orchestra, Lille City Museum of modern art)
  2. 1990 – 2000 / An increased focus on areas connected with our business activities

    By getting involved in reducing the harmful effects of the automotive sector with two major initiatives: a Road Safety Programme initiated in 1992 – the Young Motorists’ Tour de France – and an Environmental programme initiated in 1995 that involved setting up waste recycling channels for our auto centres.

  3. 2000 – 2008 / A stronger commitment with institutions and civil society

    In 2001, Norauto signed its first road safety Charter with the DSCR (French Interdepartmental Committee on Road Safety) which was complemented in 2002 by the creation of the European Road Safety Awards. That same year, Norauto Argenteuil became the first ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certified auto centre. Since 2007, all of the Mobivia Groupe companies have signed the United Nations Global Compact, thereby agreeing to promote the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, international labour standards and regulations, environmental protection and the fight against corruption.

  4. 2008 – 2013 / Making a move towards a CSR approach that is organised and generates value

    In 2008, all the managers of the brands agreed on a sustainable development charter, which is a genuine road map for guiding all of the group’s operations. In the same year, Mobivia Groupe organised its first Stakeholder dialogue scheme to submit and add to its sustainable development policy with specialists and those involved in its environment.

    In 2012, the group implemented more detailed non-financial performance indicators for improving the monitoring of its sustainable development commitments.

    In 2013, Mobivia Groupe incorporated into its work on its 10-year Vision, an objective dedicated to CSR, “Innovation to be a Key Player in the City”: :

    • Getting involved in job creation and entrepreneurship
    • Developing products, services and networks with a value for the environment and society
    • Guiding our employees and our customers towards sustainable mobility options.
